Macie in December

Holding her hand over her neck she said, "My heart is beeping, that means I'm 4 (years old)."

A few nights ago, Tate was being so whiney, and wouldn't eat and wouldn't sleep. Teasing, I told the kids to make a sign that said, "Please take me, I'm free" , so we could put it on Ty. A few days later Ty happened to be eating his dinner. I was telling Bob how could Ty did eating dinner. Macie overheard our conversation and said, "Oh good, now we don't have to make a sign for Ty Ty."

2 months ago, Macie did not even know one letter of the alphabet, she now knows most of them and most of their sounds. She can even spell and read simple words! I am so impressed!

Today I woke up with a sore throat and very little of a voice left. Macie hasn't acted like she feels bad for me, she acts like she is annoyed that I can't talk to her. She said to me, "Why does your boice (voice) sound like that?!?" I told her my voice was broken. She hesitated for a minute and then said, "Fine! You can have mine!"

Yesterday my kids were at grandmas and papa's. Macie, Tate & Hallie built a fort upstairs and really wanted papa to come look at it. Papa forgot about it and started working in his office. About 30 minutes later, he said, Macie walked in, came and stood right in front of him and in the sweetest voice said, "Papa, Tate and Howie weally (really) want you to come up and wook (look) at our fowt (fort)." Papa said they sent the right girl because he couldn't tell her no!!:)
